Cyber Security Engineer

Your mission

We are looking for a SecOps Engineer that not only has the technical skills to create that first line of defence, but is also able to explain why certain security measures need to take place. 

Your responsibilities:

• Support and secure our Windows-based infrastructure
• Assist with user migrations from MacOS to Windows environments
• Collaborate with our 24/7 Security Operations Center team
• Monitor and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel
• Develop and maintain security scripts and automation using PowerShell
• Expert knowledge of KQL (Kusto Query Language)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud security
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune mobile device management implementation
• Experience with Power Apps security considerations
• Work with development teams to ensure application security compliance
• Manage security configurations across our Microsoft Azure environment
• Support global locations across multiple time zones

What do you need to be successful in your mission?

• You have 3 years of experience with global enterprise security operations
• You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• You are a team player
• You get energy from working in a global fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
