Do you want to be a crucial part of our journey and contribute to the realization of this roadmap?

As a Java Developer you will handle backend development (Spring, Java) in our Custom Developments team. You will work on business-critical applications that allow Manuchar to grow and further digitize and optimize in its ways of working.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Handling backend development (Spring, Java 17).
• Following the Manuchar coding standards for backend development.
• Investigating and solving technical back-end questions.
• Highlighting pitfalls and advantage of different technical solutions for the “to develop” UserStory
• Contributing to global and detail estimations for the “to develop” UserStories.
• Understanding the functional analysis and/or stepping in when functional analysis is not completely clear before developing.

Your profile

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree combined with relevant experience as a senior developer.
• You have a broad experience in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate
• You have experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• You are used to working in an Agile environment(scrum).
• You have strong communication skills and are successful in building good relations.
• You are proactive, adaptive and think in terms of solutions instead of problems.
• You work in an organized and structured way.
• Knowledge of DevOps and/or REACT is a plus.
