The job

We are in search of a dynamic and results-oriented Fertilizer Sales Manager to oversee our crop nutrition sales operations in the Da Lat and Lam Dong region of Vietnam. As the Crop Nutrition Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to craft and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets and fostering strong relationships with distributors and clients within the crop nutrition industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, implement, and oversee the sales strategy for the Highland region to attain revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify fresh business prospects and monitor market trends to expand the crop nutrition sales portfolio.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust connections with clients, distributors, and other stakeholders to gain insights into their requirements and preferences.
  • Collaborate with distributors to ensure a steady supply and distribution of crop nutrition/fertilizers, aligning with market demands and sales targets.
  • Supervise the sales process, encompassing order management, coordination of shipments, and inventory tracking, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate periodic reports and analyze sales data to assess performance, pinpoint trends, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research to detect potential markets, customer preferences, and emerging trends within the crop nutrition industry.
  • Interact daily with various departments to address issues promptly and deliver top-notch service to our customers.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelors' Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science or related field preferred.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in crop nutrition/ fertilizer sales, preferably within the agriculture industry in the Highland region of Vietnam.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of the fertilizer market, agricultural practices, and industry regulations.
  • Showcase experience with a trading and distribution company, a crop nutrition/ fertilizer production companies, or an end-user in the crop nutrition industry.
  • Possess an existing network in the crop nutrition industry, which is advantageous.
  • Display strong drive and organizational skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Feature outstanding interpersonal skills to maintain optimal relationships with both internal and external contacts.
