Sales Manager Pet Nutrition - Thailand

Operating out of our new office in AIA Sathorn, the Sales Manager Pet Nutrition Ingredients plays an important role in our Thailand market development. As part of the regional animal nutrition team, he/she will focus on the development of our Pet Nutrition Ingredients business segment in Thailand supported by a team of dedicated global and regional business development managers
Responsibilities:
- Developing ambitious and clear market development plans that create synergies with our existing portfolio in Thailand, Asia and with our global position as a leader in the ingredients/chemicals distribution business.
- Visiting our customer portfolio on a regular basis and building and expanding a strong network in the market.
- Documenting and reporting market information in a clear and structured manner to regional business development management and country management.
- Designing a balanced portfolio that builds on our strengths as a company with a global procurement network as well as our local logistical strengths.
- Interfacing daily with other departments to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner and to provide a first-class service to our customers.
- Dependent on the background and experience the Sales Manager Pet Nutrition may assume regional responsibilities related to our pet nutrition business.
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in animal science, preferably with a specialization in pet nutrition.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in the pet nutrition ingredients industry with proven records.
- Experience and ability to work in an international environment, with prior experience in an international ingredients distribution business being a benefit.
- Eager to learn and acquire knowledge in view of longer-term career prospects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
- Experience with a pet nutrition distribution company or a pet food production company is a must.
- An existing network in the pet food industry is definitely an advantage.
- Highly driven and organized, with an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to ensure an optimal relationship with both internal and external contacts.
